I’ll present a 10.000-word nonfiction essay in March to students at Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). I have a personal connection to this story of the unsolved murder of Centralia, IL resident, John Shakespeare, so it will be a special honor to hear comments on this piece. The adult eduction students will read my work at home and discuss it for an hour while I listen. During the second hour, I’ll answer questions about the work and discuss other writing I’ve been doing and projects I have planned.
I presented the first chapter of my novel to this group last year. I’m looking forward to returning!
